Assam Minister for Water Sources, Executive of Assam, Pijush Hazarika met Union Minister of Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in Unique Delhi on Friday and thanked him for releasing Rs.125 crores from the Flood Inspire a watch on Fund to the direct for the present fiscal.
Hazarika met Union Minister Shekhawat at his direct of job to particular his gratitude for releasing Rs.125 crores from the Central Executive‘s Flood Inspire a watch on Fund for the present financial year, which had been lying closed since 2016 due to a range of anomalies between 2011 and 2016.
Hazarika requested Shekhawat to free up extra funds beneath the design within the arrival days for taking on extra initiatives to design Assam flood free.
Hazarika said the Central funds which had been discontinued since 2016 due to anomalies committed by the erstwhile government between 2011 and 2016 has been launched by the Jal Shakti Ministry one and a half months within the past due to the relentless efforts of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. “Attributable to the relentless efforts within the splendid twelve months, the Central Executive has launched funds to the tune of Rs.125 crores to the Utter Water Sources Department,” he added.
The Minister detailed the initiative of the Chief Minister is mulling a total venture to slice water within the rivers all over the monsoons by growing ponds nearby.
